I know that in most of my posts I gush over how unbelievably amazing Steve is, but it's hard not to mention him when he's the one that makes my life so wonderful! He has been working so hard lately and I am so proud of him. Between work, school, applying to the CHP, training for his test this next weekend and taking care of me, he has been the epitome of my own little superman! On top of everything he's been doing, he also planned for me to visit my family in Colorado for the weekend. Yes, it allowed him to have a Jen-free weekend so he could actually get some stuff done, but even if he had ulterior motives it was still sweet :)
I spent Friday night through Monday night of this past week in Colorado. I loved every minute of it! I miss my mom and my little sister so much!! I don't miss their horses... I mean... dogs, but I do miss them!! Katie, my mom and I spent Saturday shopping, which is one of my most favorite thing ever!! Katie is worse than me though... she's addicted at 10!
My mom and Mike let Katie miss school on Monday to keep me company :) We met my stepdad, Mike, for lunch and then went to the movies. I'm glad I remember my camera, so Katie and I could be entertained while waiting for Monsters vs. Aliens to start. After the movie we had just enough time to go see Lacey Stewart and her adorable boys and her cute little (emphasis on little) belly!
I'm sad that I had to leave, but I am sooooo glad to be home with Steven!!! I missed him so much!!
