Trimming the Tree....

We spend every Sunday evening over at Steve's parent's house. We eat, visit, and just enjoy being with family. We all love being around Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Missy and Noah, too, since he's been staying with them while Jenn and Taylor are in Costa Rica! This Sunday, Missy, Olivia and I decorated their Christmas tree. Well, Missy did most of the work. Olivia was hungry... surprise, surprise. We gave our input and took pictures though, so it counts :) We waited to put the fragile ornaments up until after Noah went to bed though. We didn't want to risk any broken glass or injuries that would require stitches. Thankfully he's going back to Utah in one piece. Jenn and Taylor get back from Costa Rica tomorrow, so last night was also Noah's last night in California. We already miss him :( We are so excited to see all three of them in a few weeks though!!
Noah helped, too :)
"I can do it by myself, Mom."
"Hi, I'm really, really cute."

Take Your Family to Work Day...

Olivia and I went to the Bay area with Steve this Wednesday. Since our Hayward office is so far from Roseville, we take our Jetta to save on gas. The only problem... our Jetta is so small that I can't fit in the front seat with her carseat in the back. That means that I get the pleasure of sitting with Miss Olivia :) Here's a shot of her wearing my hot hot hot Coach sunglasses. She's too cute!! I tell her stories to make sure she's entertained on our drive. She loves it :)

♥
On Thursday, Olivia helped with the laundry :) She was in her bouncy and was completely content. I put some of Daddy's warm, clean clothes on her and she fell asleep. Haha!!!

♥
Daddy worked on Friday night, so Olivia and I watched movies together while Olivia had some tummy time. She's doing great! When she gets tired she rests her head down on the ground. You can tell when she's pooped out because... well... the pictures speak for themselves :) Enjoy!

Olivia's Blessing

Dear Sweet Olivia,
On Sunday, December 6th, 2009, your Daddy blessed you with your name, Olivia Jane Clegg. You were blessed in the Roseville 1st Ward in the Roseville Stake in Roseville, California. You wore a beautiful white dress that your Mommy and Daddy chose especially for you. Grandma Clegg added a satin sash and satin along the bottom of the dress to make it extra special. Your Grandpa Steve and Great Grandpa Clegg stood with Daddy as he gave you a beautiful blessing. When you were still in Mommy's belly, we decided that the name Olivia Jane would be perfect for our precious little princess. We wanted you to have a name with meaning. Olivia means Olive Tree. This tree possess a wealth of symbolism - peace, fruitfulness, purification, strength, victory and reward. In Jewish and Christian tradition, the olive is a symbol of peace and it was an olive branch which the dove brought back to Noah when the Flood was over. We hope that you will cultivate and nurish these qualities as you grow. Your middle name, Jane, is for your Grandma Janie. She has a very big heart and always puts the needs of those she loves before her own. Grandma is also a fighter :) She is a breast cancer survivor whose courage and faith we hope you can emulate in your life. You are a very special spirit and this experience has taught us that your Father in Heaven is very aware of you. We love you and are so happy you are a part of our family!

Smiley...

Best feeling in the world=Olivia seeing me and smiling her huge, adorable smile! She smiles all the time now. I couldn't be happier knowing that my little princess is one happy little munchkin :) She's happiest when she gets her diaper changed, finishes eating or when she's just waking up. She is starting to coo and get excited with little squeels. Her cry is even precious... most of the time. She does get fussy when her tummy hurts, but all she needs is her pacifier, a cuddle, and a little belly rub to feel better. She's very strong, too. She supports her head very well and likes to work out her leg, back, neck and arm muscles :) Now if only Mommy was as motivated to work out as her :)

Notice the poop in the top right of the picture...haha! It was in the wash right after this poopie diaper change :)

Family Pictures 2009

Steven's sister, Jenn, took some family pictures for us this week. She did such a great job!! I was amazed by her talent. She should go into this professionally... I'm serious. We had a lot of fun and we lucked out because Olivia was on her best behavior. We had to stop and feed the little munchkin, but with a full belly, she was even more lovely than before. We are so blessed to have such an angel for a daughter. She is perfect. Presenting...

The Clegg Family ♥

Our unbelievably wonderful friend, Kris, photoshopped a few of our pictures for us. They look adorable. I bet you can pick out the ones she did :) Hello? Darling.

Love this one ♥

Olivia is thinking... "What in the world are they doing to me?"

She does this and just keeps her eyes focused on Steve the entire time. It's kinda scary, but she supports her head extremely well and can support her weight on her legs. We're just a little crazy :)

All day. Everyday.

Steven thought it would be funny to pretend to push me off the bridge... not so. I started crying. Not right away, of course. He pushed me waaaay back and I didn't think he had a good grip on me. Even if he did, I don't think he would have been able to prevent me from falling backwards and dying. I was freaked out :) I got over it quick though... see below...

Love him with all of my heart!!! So lucky to forever be with my best friend. We live, we laugh, we love, we fight, we "make up" ;), we cuddle, we play, we enjoy life every step of the way... together.

Our little princess. Perfect.
