30 Weeks and a Name....

30 weeks down and only 10 to go!!! Holy crap!! We are so excited!!!

We don't have the internet at the moment, so thankfully our house is in the perfect location and close to everything. The library is only about 3 minutes from our house, so here I am sitting in this lovely air conditioned building and blogging my little heart out ♥ Before I left I took a few pictures for all of you.

♥
Also... we have a name finally!!! After much deliberation and trying out many, many, many names we have finally decided on one that fits our little angel baby perfectly! While we were deciding between Makena, Skyler, Everleigh, Savannah and just about every other name you could possibly think of, I thought we would for sure have to bring all the names we liked to the hospital and decide once she had graced us with her presence. I'm glad to say that's not the case anymore. We've chosen...

OLIVIA JANE CLEGG

for our Little Princess!!! Everytime Steve uses it I feel reassured that it's the perfect name for her. Many of you might know that I was having a difficult time trying to think of names because nothing ever felt right. I thought that I would have to see her before I knew for certain, but weird as this might sound to some of you, I know it's her name. It makes complete sense to me :) Maybe it's the hormones talking. We weren't 100% decided on a middle name, but Jane is the one that Steve and I could BOTH agree on. My mom's name is Janie and her real name is Janette (pronounced Jane-ette) and I also have the most amazing great aunt Jane who is my grandpa Glen's sister, so the name Jane has some history in my Walker family. We are so excited to have her join our family and can't wait to see her ♥

Our New Place!!

Steve and I are so lucky to have his amazing parents in our lives. They own a small, adorable home in Roseville that recently became available. They are giving us a great deal because they love us so much and also because they feel a little bit sorry for us, I think :) We definitely wouldn't be able to afford anything this nice or big anywhere in California without having to sell our first born, which I don't think is an option at this point. As most of you know, Steve and I didn't have a reception where you normally get your essentials, so we literally have next to nothing...but we do have LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of love ♥ Haha! We are overjoyed that we are able to have a place to call home with an extra room for our little lovebug, too!! I am so happy that we are living close to family, so when they baby comes she can get all the lovin' she needs. We couldn't ask for anything more.... life is pretty blissful!!!

The front of our new home! It is perfect! Our backyard is a great size with a little lawn with landscaping. It'll be great next summer when the baby is bigger :)

Thanks to Steve's cousin, Amanda, we have her couch for another month or so. Who knows what we'll do then... hehe :)

The kitchen is great!!!

The bathroom has double sinks which I love, love, love!! :)

Our Trip to Utah!!

I was able to be in Utah when my mom and sister, Katie were there visiting my Grandma Walker in Provo. It was so fun to spend time with them. I NEVER get to be with my mom without her needing to do a million other things, so it was nice to have her when she only had about 999,999 other things to do :)

While we were there we tried to brainwash Katie into thinking BYU was the BEST. SCHOOL. EVER. Yes, she is only 10, but you gotta get 'em while their young, right? We started out by trying to show her just how fun BYU can be, so natuarally, we went bowling on campus. Everyone should know that I, the pregnant lady, beat everyone with the incredible score of 106... thank you very much! Katie did beat me fair and square at air hockey though. That girl is fierce!! We then took her to the bookstore which Katie called the "gift shop" which I though was adorable :) She got a pink BYU sweatshirt that she started wearing around almost immediately. I think we might have been successful, folks! She loved it!!

We also went to see my cousin, Aimee, and her adorable daughter, Callie. It was fun to see them and to kiss little Callie chubby cheeks! I can not wait for our little one to get here!!!!!! I hope she is just as fat as this little one....

Basically the same picture, but I wanted you all to see my beautiful little sister, Katie. I love her!
♥

Katie and my mom left for home the same day that Steve and his mom drove in from California. We spend a few days with Steve's sister Jenn and her cute little family in Roy. Steve, Ingrid and I went to dinner on Wednesday night at The Roof restaurant on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake. The food was delicious!! We walked around Temple Square for a while afterwards to take some pictures. Overall, it was a really fun trip to Utah. I actually miss it there :)

Salt Lake Temple... oh... and us kissing ♥

Steve and his mom, Ingrid. I think they look so much alike :)

Independence Day!

I've been slacking :) Here are some pictures from July 4th!! We had a wonderful day with the Cleggs! Steve's Aunt and Uncle live across the street from his parents, so there were lots of kids and family, delicious neopolitan ice cream and lots of fireworks. We loved it!!

My hot, hot, hot husband playing with fireworks :)
We love sparklers!!
So we took two pictures (this is obviously the blurry one of the two), but I look like a freak in the other one because an ember from the sparkler was burning the bottom of my foot!! It hurt like you can not believe, so I chose to post the blurry photo to spare all of us the sight of my face in the other picture. You're welcome.

27 weeks and counting...

So tomorrow marks my official 27th week of pregnancy. We found our new doctor here in California, so we had another ultrasound on Monday. She is measuring big once again, so my adjusted due date is now September 27th which would make me 27 weeks and 4 days preggers.

Today we went to Roseville Galleria and stopped into the Destination Maternity store. While I was trying on some dresses, Steve tried on a little something of his own....

Belly to belly... me at 27 weeks... Steve is about 9 months along according to his fake belly.
Hahahahahaaaa....

He's so cute :)

A glimpse into the near future perhaps.
