Placer County Fair

I'm sure that most of you will agree with me... I think it's safe to say that the freaks come out at the county fair!! Holy Hannah.... Steve and I would have gotten our money's worth if we had just sat there people watching the whole night. We blended in quite nicely with the tattooed, long-haired, drinking, smoking, half-dressed, delightfully happy people :) Just kidding... they weren't all like that, but there were quite a few.

Other than the freak show... we saw a shark exhibit and decided to pose for a few pictures with the little swimmers. See I am totally calm when the fish are in a tank :)

Steven also donated $2.00 to get three throws to sink a girl in a tank. He sank her all three times... he was the first one all day who was able to do it!! I am so proud of my little pitcher!

They had cows, pigs and goats at the fair, too. They smelled so bad, but they were pretty darn cute!! Steve and I loved this little pig. I seriously could have climbed in his pen and played with him. He was my favorite by far.

They had all these weird looking motorized stuffed animals that you could rent for $4.00. I opted not to pay, but just sit on it and take a picture instead. This teletubbie was the funniest looking one, so he was the lucky one who got to be in the picture with me.

We always have to take pictures ourselves, but I am the uncoordinated one of the two of us when it comes to holding the camera, smiling and taking the picture at the same time. So here are our attempts at looking cute with the camera only an arms length away from us. I think they turned out quite nicely :) I think that we need to start stopping people to ask them to take the dang pictures for us from here on out.

Wedding and a Baby Shower

This past week was a fun one!! I was able to go to Colorado for my step-brother Chris' wedding. I loved seeing my Mom, Steven, Jason and Katie. I was also able to meet Steven's wonderful girlfriend, Hannah, and see Jason's girlfriend, Amy. Amy is the sweetest and I love that she was able to help out at the shower on Saturday! If things "work out" with either couple I would be extremely lucky to have such great sisters (Hint, hint... fellas!) I'm already lucky to have Steve's amazing and beautiful sisters Jennifer, Lauren and Missy in my life!! Jenn did my mom's hair a couple of weeks ago when we were in Utah and it looks so great! My mom is looking HOT!!!

The baby is doing great! She is getting more and more violent every day :) Just kidding! She's getting bigger, therefore her kicks are getting stronger. Steve jokingly said that she head-butted him the other day because it felt like she was getting ready to bust through my stomach :) I'm getting bigger and people aren't afraid to ask if I'm pregnant in fear that I might just be rounder in the middle...hehe :) Some people even feel the urge to touch my stomach, which makes me laugh, but feel a little uncomfortable at the same time. I'm continuing to put really disgusting smelling cocoa butter that's suppose to help prevent stretch marks on my stomach, chi-chis, and legs everyday!! I am paranoid :) Hopefully it helps!

My baby shower was so fun! My mom put a lot of work into it and it turned out great! We had it at the Presidio in their party room. The room was beautiful and fit everyone perfectly. I got a ton of cute outfits for our little princess :) Amy got us our diaper genie!! I can't wait to use it!!!

Here are a couple of pictures from my 24th week of being "with child"... hehe :) I've been in Colorado for a few weeks, so I will be posting more pictures from the trip when I get back. It's been busy, busy..... I can't wait to get home!! I miss my honey too much...
P.S. I'm almost in the double digits in my countdown!!! Can you believe it?! I can't!!! Scary!!

I took this myself and I always feel awkward smiling while I'm standing alone in a room with my camera on a timer, so it's a hideous picture of me. You can see my belly though, so that's all that matters :)

HOORAY FOR LOOKING PREGNANT AND NOT JUST FAT :)

This is a picture Steve took when we got home from church on Sunday. I actually look pregnant now and not just chubby. I've honestly only had two people(besides family and friends who already know) ask me when I'm due or how far along I am. The majority of people are shocked when I tell them I'm due the first of October :) Ah well... as long as she's healthy and growing I'm happy :)

Week 23

Here I am at 23 weeks... still not getting very big, but I am OK with that :) I hear that I'll most likely "pop" at 6 months, so we'll see! She is moving around all the time and you can see my stomach move almost everytime she turns or kicks or jabs any one her her tiny little body parts out. It's the most wonderful feeling in the world :) I'll also be posting pictures of our trip to Hawaii soon, so check back ♥
