April

By your official 6 month birthday, you were crawling, Livi! On Easter Sunday, April 4th, it was one day before your 6 month birthday and you crawled to find your Easter basket :) You made Mommy and Daddy sooooo happy!!! You got better and better and faster and faster as each day passed.

On April 11th, we moved to our new place in Dublin, California. It's about 1 hr. 45 min. away from where you were born in Carmichael and where we lived in Roseville. We were so excited to move closer to Daddy's office. We moved into a great area and we immediately loved our ward and the people in it. You made a lot of new friends around your same age and you guys love playing together.

March

March was a great month for you, peanut! You spent a lot of time with both Mommy and Daddy. We took loooong drives back and forth between Roseville and Daddy's office in Hayward. You were always perfect while we were on the road! Thank goodness, otherwise, I would have gone crazy :) You continued to roll all over the place and even started to get up onto all fours to crawl. You would heave yourself forward trying to get moving. It was hilarious to watch! You really wanted to be mobile. You were able to sit up without any assistance which made play time so much more fun for you and me. Here are some pictures of you during March:

February

February was a FUN month for you, Livi!! The most exciting part about it was traveling to Valencia to celebrate Grandpa Scott's 50th birthday!!! You love Grandpa so much and he has been the BEST GRANDPA EVER :) Both Grandpa Scott and Grandma Anne adore you ♥ While we were there, you were able to meet some pretty important people. You met Uncle Steve and Aunt Hannah and Uncle Jason and Aunt Amy for the first time. They couldn't get enough of you, peanut!! You also met your cousin, Courtney. She is one of Mommy's favorite cousins. She was so sweet with you.

.

This month you continued to explore the world around you. You could get around pretty well rolling and you took advantage of that. The day you turned 5 months old was the day you started sitting up on your own. That allowed you to play and watch exactly what was going on with the people you loved and the new things you were experiencing :) You were/are very inquisitive, girly!

.

Here's an excerpt from your 5 month post about all the things you did at 5 months:

♥She can sit all by herself for a good 10 seconds and then she plops over. Sometimes she'll stay up for longer, but she needs to be focused on a toy that's placed in front of her.

.

♥She can lift her chest and stomach off the floor when she's on her tummy and starts to kick her little legs back and forth in a crawling motion.
.

♥She just recently started getting on one knee, but leaves the other leg straight. She really wants to crawl :)

.

♥She scoots backwards when she's on her belly. If you put her in one spot on the floor and leave for a couple of minutes, when you return you'll see how quickly she can actually move around and how far she gets. Geez!!
.

♥When she's on her back she arches her back and scoots her head across the floor.

.

♥She is rolling from her back to her tummy like a champ :) I can't just leave her on our bed anymore :)
.

♥She loves balancing on Daddy's hand. She's been doing it since she was 9 weeks old, so I think she considers herself a pro.

.

♥She talks all the time and is starting to use consonants like M and B and D. Words like Mmaa and Bbaa and Ddaaa are starting to become more frequent :) Yaya!!! Say... Mama!!!
.

♥She also gargles and talks at the same time. Basically, she sounds like a bird when she does it. It's too cute.

.

♥She loves to pucker out her lips. Steven says that she is getting ready to start whhooo-ing like an owl. Haha! We'll see :)
.

♥She has the prettiest eyes and is always complimented on them :)

.

♥People always observe that she has such an "intelligent" look. She is constantly soaking up all the information she can get from her surroundings. It makes us proud to know that she is bright at such an early age.
.

♥She loves her bath and gets exited to play with her bath toys. She can stay in the tub forever, but is excited to get out, too, because then she gets a mini massage. Life is good when you're a baby :)

.

♥She is always smiling and loves when people talk to her, sing to her, tickle her, kiss her, hold her, hug her, nibble at her, play with her, throw her in the air, pretend to drop her(seriously), take her on walks, bathe her, massage her, give her a little belly scratch.... the list is long! The girls likes just about e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g :)
.

♥She giggles playing hide-and-go-seek (sometimes), when she's tickled on her chest or legs, when she plays with her stuffed animals, when someone gets really excited when they're talking to her, when you pretend to drop her (seriously) and at other random times.

.

♥She is starting to eat rice cereal, so we'll see how that goes....
.

♥Today she started nodding her head... lol!! Let's hope that lasts because it is too adorable.

.

♥She loves looking at herself in the mirror and starts talking to herself.... Sounds like her mom. Lol :)
.

♥She loves listening to music and dancing with Mommy ♥

.

♥She adores her aunties and uncles and can't get enough of her Grandmas and Grandpas. She is so blessed to have so many wonderful people love her so much!
.

Daddy has a few of his own to contribute...

♥She always smiles at Daddy.

♥She always toots in the morning.
.

♥She smiles so big whenever Daddy says, "Beep! Beep! Beep!"

♥She gets really excited when anyone claps.
.

♥She gets extremely still and gets this concerned look on her face when Steven pretends to yell at her in Polish. She'll also get really still when he talks to her, but doesn't make any sound. Lol! It's like she doesn't understand why she can't hear what he's saying.
