Halloween Festivities!!

Steve and I took Olivia to pick pumpkins yesterday. It was windy and kind of cold, but we bundled up our little princess and had a lot of fun. Steve was in charge of finding us pumpkins that weren't crooked and had at least one smooth side. He found us three perfect pumpkins for carving... a daddy, mommy and baby pumpkin :)

♥

Later, we went to our ward's Trunk or Treat party. Steve was a Polish volleyball player(sorry no pictures...yet. Wait until Saturday for the goods), I was a witch and Olivia was a fairy princess who hasn't earned her wings yet. She looked adorable in her little tutu. I am the luckiest mommy in the world to have such a cute, sweet, little baby girl. We didn't go outside trunk or treating because it was a little too cold for Olivia, instead we stayed inside and ate chili, cornbread and tamales. Yum! Today I am wishing we had gone to at least one or two cars because I'm craving chocolate :) If only....

♥

After the party, Josh and Mia Culp came over to carve pumpkins. Olivia was pooped out from her busy day, so she was a little grumpy. She fell asleep and made carving a lot easier on Mommy and Daddy though. I'm glad I got this picture before she fell asleep :) I am not one of those pumpkin carvers who prints out a pattern to tape on my pumpkin to carve out some fantastic character or whatnot. Thankfully, Steve, Mia and Josh are the same way. I didn't feel lame carving a typical jack-o-lantern face. It was a great night. We love having Josh and Mia over. Mia is due in March with their first baby, a boy named Levi. She looks great and we're so excited for them!!!

My pumpkin, Mia's, Steven's (minus the insides of the pumpkin because his is made to look like it's throwing up) and Josh's. We're all so talented...lol!

Celebrate!!

Here are some pictures from Steve's birthday dinner :) Missy did a great job with the decorations. I loved the Batman table cloth and napkins :) Missy and I also made Steven his birthday cake. Missy made it and frosted it and I decorated it. She helped stick the peanut butter cups to the side of the cake. Which I thought would be simple, but it proved to be surprisingly difficult. They did NOT want to stay put. Thankfully, it turned out great and tasted delicious.

Peanut Butter cups for the cake...yum!

Happy Birthday, baby!!!
One candle for every five years of life + one for good luck :)
He is so hot :) I love him.
Steve, Ingrid, Olivia and me. It looks like I'm holding Olivia awkwardly, but oddly enough she actually LOVES being held like this. She can see your face and is curled up like a little frog. So cute :)
Make a wish..........

Again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH ♥

Quarter of a Century ♥

Steven is 25 today!!! He is such a wonderful husband and an amazing daddy :) Olivia and I are so lucky!!! Steve's 24th year was extremely eventful with getting married, graduating from BYU, moving to California, working his little tail off at RPM and becoming a daddy. This year might be a little less hectic, but just as fantastic and enjoyable. We love you so much, baby!! Thank you for loving us and being incredible. HAPPY FRICKIN' BIRTHDAY!!!

Love,
Us

SOOOO HOT!!!

Olivia spending time with Daddy this morning :)

We decorated for Daddy's birthday!! I took the picture myself while Steve was at church(we haven't braved the germs of church just yet). We love you so much!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Adorable.

We have the most beautiful baby on the planet. Her eyes are ginormous, but not in a creepy way. Well... sometimes in a creepy way(see picture 3), but that doesn't happen very often :) She is so precious and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.

Olivia ♥s Family

This weekend Olivia's Grandpa and Grandma Shear, Great-Grandpa Mush and Uncle Ryan came for a visit. Olivia was on her best behavior, so they were able to pass her around and give her lots and lots of lovin' :) I loved seeing how much they all adored her. It's hard not to fall in love with such a beautiful, sweet baby girl ♥ They weren't able to stay long, so we are looking forward to our next visit with them.

Grandpa loves her already ♥

My Dad's face is priceless in this picture :)

Olivia was the first baby Ryan has ever held :) He did great and she loved him!

Grandma Anne went fabric shopping with a close friend who made Olivia an adorable blanket, which is being washed in Dreft as I type :) We love it!!

Bath Time :)

Today Olivia had her first real bath :) She was so calm and relaxed. I'm glad that Steve was able to be home to help, too. It was great being able to be together to share one of her "firsts." She is getting a little chubbier and I love it. I took some adorable pictures of her and Daddy, so enjoy :)

She's modest :)

She does this with her arms a lot. Whenever she's being held and you accidentally startle her to put her down, she'll stretch her arms out like she's trying to hold on to you. I love it ♥

Perfection ♥

My baby is adorable and I love her.

Last night we were at Steve's parent's house and Olivia was sleeping peacefully when Aunt Missy pointed out that she had her arms folded like she was praying. I grabbed the camera so I wouldn't miss such a cute shot and she she made it even better by smiling right as I took the picture. I love her ♥ She's perfect. Perfect.

We Survived the First Week!!!

OLIVIA IS ONE WEEK OLD TODAY :)
She is doing great! She is taking a nap on my chest as I type, but will probably want to eat here in the next few minutes :) Surprise, surprise. She is such a sweet baby and I feel so lucky to have her in my life. Steve and I are both in awe of just how precious and beautiful she is. As she grows and begins to do more, I will be sure to post them for everyone to see :) For now she just sleeps, eats, poops and her most natural talent yet... she makes people fall in love with her.
Daddy is in charge of burping :)

She loves her Daddy so much ♥

I love her little face!

♥

Sunday we took our first walk together... well... it was our first successful attempt of three :) The weather was absolutely perfect and Olivia and I loved the change of scenery. I don't know when I'll feel comfortable bringing her out in public. I'm not ashamed to admit that I am SUPER anal about germs. For example, I came home after her first doctor's appointment and washed her outfit and blanket because I was so worried about all the little people germs floating around the office :) Haha.... is that too much? Looks like our little walks will have to suffice for now.

She has my ears. Poor girl.

She crashed after nursing. Don't you just want to kiss her?! I get to :) Jealous much?
